19th century 2nd Life Guard’s Undress Cartouche Pouch.

Black leather pouch with brass trim and sunburst to flap with imposed flaming grenade emblem and crimson leather lining.

Brass mounted with two loops for attaching to the 2nd Life Guard’s undress uniform. Introduced around 1820 and worn until 1843.

English, circa 1820 – 1840.
