I am delighted to have for sale this large and very special claret jug by Ramsden and Carr. It is in excellent original condition with original clear glass body and crisp repousse design and marks. The lid is set with a single large garnet. It is a magnificent rare piece standing 32 cm tall. The silver neck carries the main assay marks with all other parts correctly part marked. The base underside is inscribed “Omar Ramsden and Alwyn Carr me fecerunt”.
