A superb Queen Anne period silver laceback trefid spoon made circa 1704 by Richard Sweet III of Honiton ( Devon)For same mark with same workman’s stamp see example in picture purchased by Honiton Museum (which is not as fine and crisply decorated as this example)
The spoon bears the original betrothal initials and is about as good an example as I have ever seen.Avery rare and fine West Country spoon.
