A late 18th Century French quarter repeating cylinder by Leroy in a large silver and gold open face case. Gilt keywind movement both the going and repeating trains under a small gilt bridge. Suspended going barrel with polished steel stopwork. Sector shaped cock with polished steel regulator, diamond endstone.
Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Push pendant quarter repeating on two rectangular section polished steel gongs. Large flat white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gilt hands. Fine purpose made drum shaped plain silver open face case with gold bezels, silver push pendant. Wound and set through the signed gilt metal cuvette.
