The pottery figure of the stallion decorated with a brown coat and a white "Y" shaped mark on the forehead. The colors are underglaze, as is the green mottled relief molded base.
The quality of the modeling is exceptional on this scarce figure probably made in the North of England. The underside of the base still retains the paper label of D.M and P Manheim antique pottery dealers located in New York in London
Dimensions: 7 inches high 7.75 inches long
Current Condition: Professional and invisible restoration to cracks at legs and tip of ears.
Provenance: With Manheim's retains their original paper label
