- Classic Napoleon III features include the bookmatched kingwood and the ormolu mounts.
- The jardinière is well-preserved and retains its original liner.
Constructed from quarter veneered kingwood and amaranth, the planter decorated with ormolu mounts including miniature busts to the corners, the front set with an oval porcelain panel depicting cupid; the interior having its original zinc liner.
