Ponte Corvo, Mid-Century Modern, Monotone, Surrealist print, limited edition 2/50, in the original gilded frame.
Playful, erotic, surrealist composition.
In Italian Ponte Corvo means literally ‘bridge’ ponte and ‘curved’ curvo.
The composition is playing with this in juxtaposition. The lines allude to a bridge and there are many curves in the bodies of the two ladies.
Framers label on reverse L'Ariete Galleria Torino which is still trading.
