A late 18th Century Swiss verge in a fine gold and enamel consular case set with diamonds and pearls. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Bridge cock finely pierced and engraved to form the makers name, polished steel coqueret. Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Winding through the gold engine dial with black champleve enamel Roman numerals, serpentine blue steel hands. Slender gold consular case the bezels set with a row of split pearls. The back of translucent dark blue enamel over an engine turned ground centred by diamond set pierced decoration. Rectangular gold pendant, the front bezel opened by depressing a small button at the top.
