A patent crystal glass drip ring wine jug, Red House Glassworks, Stourbridge, English circa 1875.
There is a small hole behind the handle and above the collar for drips to be guided back into the bottle. Each jug had to be completely free blown, hence each example is slightly different.
It does comfortably hold a full wine bottle.
