PAIR OF SILVER-MOUNTED AND GEM SET ROCK CRYSTAL CANDLESTICKS

Circa 1880
A spectacular pair of candlesticks with silver capitals and bases, and stems comprised of alternating silver and rock crystal sections. The silver is chased throughout with a design of scrolling leaves and flowers, highlighted with white and black enamel. The candlesticks are further embellished with turquoise, garnets and paste cabochons. The pair are presented in their original fitted box, lined with burgundy velvet.
