Pair of Scottish Walnut Armchairs.
Made in the Aesthetic style of the period. The backs with turned finials, moulded and polished cresting rail and padded upholstered backs over a row of turned spindles.
The padded arms are supported by turned columns to upholstered seats. Stand on ring turned tapered legs that terminate with brass and china castors.
Impressed mark of the firm: J. & T. Scott, Edinburgh and also signed by the chair maker: J. Whitehead.
