By descent through the Mellish family, firstly Blyth Hall, Nottinghamshire and latterly at Hodsock Priory, Nottinghamshire to Frances Katharine Mellish who married Sir Andrew Buchanan 1st Baronet (1807-1882).
Thence by descent at Hodsock Priory to Sir Andrew Buchanan, 5th Baronet (b. 1937).
