A Pair of Porcelain-Mounted Pier Cabinets.

The English-made side cabinets with fixed-shelved interior constructed from rare amboyna with purpleheart crossbanding and boxwood stringing; each supported on ormolu-mounted oblate feet, the rounded corners with faux-fluted pilasters and bronze ribbons also featured on the central lockable doors set with two hand-painted oval porcelain plaques on bleu celeste ground showing female portrait busts; a further floral painted porcelain panel set within the frieze of each cabinet.
