A pair of Japanese miniature triple gourd shaped Satsuma vases, the lower two sections show children playing with the Seven Gods of Good Fortune interspersed with different species of fish (symbolising good luck and abundance). The upper section features more children (karako) at play whilst each lobe is framed with multi-coloured geometric designs.
