A fine pair of mid 18th century Scottish mahogany side chairs, the serpentine top rail carved with scrollwork, acanthus and rosettes, the pierced vase splat similarly carved at the base, over a drop-in seat resting on boldly-carved cabriole legs with gadrooned rail and standing on ball and claw feet.
