A pair of high Regency coromandel and ormolu bookcase console tables in the style of Thomas Hope, each of rectangular form with two square section pillars in the form of pharaonic terms with bare feet, on a solid plinth.

Surmounted by two shelves with a central flanged pedestal, decorated with crossbanding and further anthemion mounts. With a paper label ‘Charles Smith, Upholsterer, Grosvenor Street, Grosvenor Square’.
