A finely carved pair of George III mahogany open armchairs.
After a Hepplewhite design.
Each with channelled shield-shaped back and railed splat carved with stiff-leaves emanating from a half sunflower, with outscrolled arms and rosette terminals, the padded seat covered in blue silk, on rosette-headed square moulded outswept tapering legs.
