A pair of rare early George III silver chambersticks made in 1771 by Ebenezer Coker of London.

The chambersticks are of a shaped circular form with gadroon borders and stand on three shell design feet.

Each is engraved with the attractive Fleur de Lis crest of the original owner and they still retain their original detachable nozzles.

Pairs of chambersticks by Ebenezer Coker are quite rare as he is more commonly seen on candlesticks, tapersticks and salvers.

They are in good condition and were made in the year that Captain Cook returned from his first voyage.
