A fine pair of George III period neoclassical silver Corinthian column candlesticks made in Sheffield in 1777 by John Winter and Company.

The candlesticks which still retain their original mahogany bases are square based with beaded borders and are decorated to the base with Adam Style urns and swags and the cartouche bears the original owners Heron crest which is repeated to each detachable nozzle.

They are in excellent condition throughout.
