A matched pair of George III mahogany armchairs in the manner of John Linnell.
The upholstered backs and seats are covered in red silk damask and joined by scrolled arms. The serpentine rails and oval backs with carved fluted detail and with attractive oval inlays; elegant turned and fluted legs legs headed with acanthus carving and estruscan scroll rings.
