A fine pair of George II silver salt cellars made in London in 1758/9 by David Hennell of London (one salt 1758 one salt 1759).They are of shaped oval shape with gadroon borders and stand on four hoof feet .The interiors are gilded and they are in excellent condition.This model is illustrated in Percy Hennells book on Hennell salt cellars.
