Directors Notes
These earrings are set with French-cut diamonds, a style of cut that was developed in the early 15th century. Either square or rectangular in shape they have a distinctive cross shaped facet pattern and were particularly popular with the French court, hence their name.
In these earrings, the rectangular stones have been channel set creating a beautifully seamless row of diamonds. Cleverly they have also been placed inside the back section of the hoop so that the very best view of these stunning stones is always on display.
