Pair of fine French bronze and ormolu five-light candelabra;  each with a semi-draped figure of Nike holding aloft a classical vase with four scrolled branches and a central flambeau finial-sconce; the octagonal bases applied with eagle plaques and a classical draped figure, supporting a globe and pegasus motif, with flambeaux in the angles. 

Converted for electricity with the fittings removed.  Circa second half of the nineteenth century.
