These exceptional antique Edwardian Silver Sauce Boats are of oval form in a classic style. The shaped body of each piece is plain and unembellished with an applied gadroon and shell decorated border to the shaped rim.

The sauceboats are fitted with exceptional cast sterling silver opposing scroll handles featuring a leaf decorated scrolling thumbpiece. The boats are supported on impressive cast feet. They are very heavy with a large capacity and are a direct copy of 1740/50s originals by Lamerie and other important makers.Each one of the sauce boats holds about 550 ml(nearly 1Uk pint)(2pints total1100 ml).
