An unusual pair of Chinese porcelain joss stick holders, c. 1860. The pair of caparisoned elephants standing, wearing saddle clothes and supporting detachable vases, which form the joss stick holders. Unusually covered in a lilac glaze, with the interior of the holders glazed green.
Height - 16 cm, 6 2/8”.
Length - 18.5 cm, 7 2/8”.
Width -  10.5 cm, 4 1/8”.
Condition - Repair to chip on one ear. Otherwise in perfect condition.
