Pair of large Chinese porcelain bowls and covers, mounted in French ormolu. The porcelain, circa 1750, Qianlong Period, and decorated in famille rose enamels, with flowering plants, within leaf shaped panels, upon a Batavian or cafe au lait ground. The covers similarly decorated.
Both bowls mounted in 19th Century French ormolu, with rams head handles, and set upon paw feet. The covers, surmounted by pineapple shaped finials, with graping vines hanging down.

Height: 35cm, 13 3/4”.

Width: 23 cm, 9”.

Depth: 18.5 cm, 7 1/4”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
