Pair of Chinese famille verte bottle vases, Kangxi (1662-1722), the bulbous bodies decorated with two panels; the first with three vessels upon lacquer stands, containing various objects including feathers, coral and scholarly accoutrements such as a fan, calligraphy brushes and scrolls; the reverse panels containing blooming chrysanthemum, peony, flowers and seeds issuing from rockwork, the bodies and tall necks with floral sprays in iron-red, the rims with narrow green scrolling bands.
