Pair of Chinese famille verte biscuit hors d'oeuvre dishes, Kangxi (1662-1722), of trapezium shape, each decorated to the central well with a precious beribboned ball within double bands in iron red; the cavettos with an assortment of scholarly objects including tripod censers of archaic form, beribboned scrolls, texts and weiqi boards, the rims with small blue flowerheads against a green diaper ground and large white flowerheads at each corner, the reverse with four precious beribboned babao.
