Pair of Chinese blue and white canisters, Kangxi (1662-1722), of square form with everted rims, decorated to each side with ladies arranging a floral display in a fenced garden surrounded by flowering prunus and plum blossom, the top decorated with floral sprays and bamboo with geometric band around the base of the neck, the bases with auspicious 玉 kanji (jade)
