A fine pair of Georgian silver wine coasters made in 1778/1779 by Robert Hennell .One coaster is 1778 which bears the mark of Thomas Daniell and the other bears the mark of Robert Hennell.Robert Hennell would be the maker of both as Thomas Daniell would have used his mark on one as retailer. They both bear the original owners crest to one side and still retain their original woods and even their 240 year old baize underneath. They are very finely hand pierced and engraved and in good condition. One coaster is hallmarked on the side and the other near the bottom.
