An Ormolu Centrepiece in the Rococo Manner.
Constructed in gilt bronze of refined casting and finished with burnished surfacing, rising from a shaped and moulded plinth, with four acanthus scrolled legs supporting the central lidded bowl, issuing eight acanthus stylised candle arms, each fitted with drip pans and rococo bobèches, the lid decorated in a conforming style.
