For sale  is this beautifully made Omar Ramsden gold and enamel two sided pendant or medallion. The front depicts George killing the dragon set to a red enamel background, the reverse, the Jerusalem cross. The quality and condition of the work is outstanding, with detailed, crisp, definition and original subtle patina.

The piece is unmarked but is attributed to Ramsden (conceivably Ramsden and Carr) with certainty. The quality of the work, the subject matter and the style of the workmanship and enamelling are all 100 per cent Ramsden.

Acquired privately the provenance of this piece by repute is to Hancocks, London some 10-15 years ago.  There is no chain.

Material: 9 carat gold, enamel.
