A delightful late 18th century Oak Dresser with mahogany crossbanded decoration.

Retaining original top rack with elegant pierced fretwork decoration above extremely unusual concave central shelves.

Flanked by two cupboard doors and three frieze drawers retaining original brass swan neck handles above shaped frieze raised on elegant square legs.

Wow, this dresser is simply stunning. Incredibly functional but at the same time fabulous quality, a mellow warm colour and retaining some extremely unusual features.

These include the rather unusual pierced fretwork decoration, a design we have never come across before, so perhaps quite a specific commission and the two concave bowed shelves which stretch between the cupboard doors.

It's almost impossible to put into words how elegant this dresser is for such a relatively large piece of furniture, but suffice to say it would be the absolute making and focal point of many a potential destination room, no doubt to be much loved and admired for many a year still to come!
