Very rare brass “Weather Foreteller”, in circular oak case, combining a standard aneroid barometer with engraved silvered brass dial and trimmed in brass.
With a variant of Negretti & Zambra’s brass “Weather Forecaster”, which also directs the set hand, and patented in 1915.
The forecaster permits as many as 60 possible forecasts to be displayed in the cut-out section. In original condition.

Negretti & Zambra were the foremost Meteorological Instrument makers of the latter 19th and early 20th Centuries, producing a large volume of precision instruments.
