Chinese Blue and White 18th Century plate from The Nanking Cargo which sank in 1752 while aboard the vessel known as the Geldermelsen.
The cargo was eventually salvaged by Captain Michael Hatcher and sold through Christies Amsterdam in April / May 1986
This plate shows the Pattern that was called the Boatman and Six Flower Boarder pattern and was part of Lot 1739
