A Monumental Louis XV Style Gilt-Bronze and Cut-Glass Forty-Eight Light Chandelier.

The frame is variously stamped with numbers and 'JL'.
This rare and exceptional chandelier has a central cut-glass baluster stem, surrounded by an undulating cage frame from which two tiers of acanthus cast scrolling arms extend. The chandelier is hung overall with extremely large shaped prisms and flower head drops, and terminates in a fabulous pear shaped glass finial.
