A delightful late 19th century Miniature Oak Kitchen Windsor chair, having attractive turned decoration to back, seat, legs and supports.

A most unusual and charming item of miniature furniture this Windsor Armchair is of interesting design.

Dating to the late 19th century it is almost certainly a "sample" piece of miniature furniture, which means it would have been used by travelling salesman to take orders from people for full size counterparts which they would like to have made.

Often the sample pieces are much rarer and harder to find than the full size versions which is simply due to the fact that nowhere near as many of them were produced in the first place of course.

Circa 1880.

Height - 11in.
Width - 6in.
Depth - 6in.
