A delightful mid 19th century Rosewood Centre Table, having superbly figured circular tilt top, with marquetry inlaid decoration.

It is raised on faceted bulbous central set column, terminating on triform base, with attractive carved scroll feet.

A typical central standing occasional table of the period which has enough presence to stand in the centre of a room. It is also small enough to be used as an occasional table, tucked away in a corner, or alongside a settee or chair.

The table is constructed from well figured rosewood which has retained a good colour. It also has a highly decorative band of marquetry decoration around the edge.

The table is very sturdy, fit for purpose and ready to be used within the home environment, and will add a touch of class and elegance, as well as function, to wherever its eventual destination.

Circa 1860.
