A very attractive mid 19th century mahogany Breakfront Table Cabinet. Having superbly figured top over four arched panelled doors raised on original plinth base.

Dating to the mid 19th century this table cabinet is very good quality and the mahogany veneers which have been chosen retain an excellent colour and patina.

It is difficult to decide what the definitive original purpose of this piece was, with suggestions that it was made as a simple stand alone cabinet to be placed on top of a table, or possibly as a miniature sample piece of furniture.

Both of those are options fro it to be used in the present day, but also it would be very easy to mount it on the wall and use it as a very attractive wall hanging cupboard.

Circa 1850.
