This object is eligible for a Certificate of BADA Provenance

An excellent quality mid-19th century mahogany Writing Table of particularly small proportion.

Having attractive brass galleried top with replacement inset gilt tooled leather above two frieze drawers with turned brass knobs raised on elegant turned and reeded legs with original castors.

A sweet practical size and excellent quality this would be a useful addition to any modern day home as well as an older, more grand, period type property.

The leather top is in good, usable condition, but not such excellent condition that you should be afraid to use it and as a whole the table is still very much fit for its original purpose.
