English Delftware Dish, circa 1760.
Delightfully painted in soft tones of blue conveying the lightness and charm of Chinoiserie.
Painted with a chinoiserie landscape scene of a peony, bamboo and a daisy growing from behind a pierced rock. The rim with five floral sprays. Painted in blue and white on a blue glaze. In original condition. Probably Liverpool, third quarter of the 18th century.
