Very finely decorated on all exterior sides, the cover with a portrait bust of Minerva, the four sides and the base decorated with motifs of armoury and heraldic symbols, reserved on a dusky pink ground, mounted in original German silver mounts.
Blue crossed swords to the interior, the silver mount stamped 800 VM.
