Marked to the base and head, R.W. Martin & Bros, Southall.
It is unlikely this Bird has had a wooden base, but there is the means to attach one if desired.
There is a small scuff to an eyebrow and an area to the base where the glaze did not adhere, and a similar issue to one of the claws where the glaze has been dislodged prior to firing.
