A Louis XV Style Marginal-Frame Giltwood Mirror.
The bevelled rectangular mirror plate is framed by marginal side plates, with reverse-cut stars, within a laurel, berry and acanthus carved moulded frame, surmounted by a pierced cresting of cornucopia issuing flowers and fruit, centred by a dramatic acanthus carved cartouche with a portrait bust.
