A Fine and Tall Louis XV Style Giltwood Mirror. French, Circa 1870.  

This very finely carved mirror has an arched cresting expressively carved with acanthus ‘C’-Scrolls and rock roses centred by a reclining putti. The reeded uprights are embellished with  meandering foliate garlands and carved acanthus.
