A Louis XV console table with well carved decoration of roccoco scrolls, garlands of flowers and leaves. It would originally have been gilded and now the remains of the gesso give it an attractive grey finish with the fruitwood base wood appearing through in places.
Provenance: from a Georgian property near Bath.
