A library telescope by Dolland London. Mounted on a solid brass tripod stand with cabriole legs and spade feet. The telescope has a mahogany barrel with single draw tube and rack and pinion fine adjustment tube operated by a thumb wheel to the side of the main barrel. The optics consist of a 2" achromatic objective lens and four lens eyepiece which is contained in a segmented brass tube with a flared eye-cup. They are in good order and the scope offers a clear sharp image. Signed Dollond London on the brass back plate of the barrel.
