A stunning Liberty platinum and diamond Cymric necklace set with a sumptuous, large, moonstone.   The necklace is unmarked but appears as model 9826 in the Liberty jewellery sketch book page 250 in the Westminster Archive.

The design of this necklace is attributed to Archibald Knox.   A very similar design, that is next to this pendant in the sketch book (model 9830), appears in Dr Stephen Martin’s book Archibald Knox page 257.  This pendant will appear in the forthcoming third revised edition of Martin’s Knox book.

The condition is excellent and original.  The pendant comes in its original Liberty box, itself in good condition.

Marks: Unmarked.

Material: Platinum, moonstone, diamond.

Condition: Excellent.

Size: Length c. 40cm, total drop 6.0 cm, moonstone c 2.0 cm long.
