A lovely example of a Liberty Cymric gold and turquoise brooch by Archibald Knox. This previously unrecorded design will appear in Dr Stephen Martin’s forthcoming revised book on ”Archibald Knox”. The brooch is model 1316. page 7, in the Liberty silver sketch book.
The brooch is in excellent antique original condition It is unmarked as is often the case with Liberty gold jewellery. It is untested but I am confident it is 15 carat gold or better.
