A late George III mahogany secretaire bookcase attributed to Gillows, of tall rectangular form with a secretaire drawer with a leather-inset fall front enclosing four shaped pigeonholes and  small drawers flanking central compartment, all above two cupboard doors and surmounted by two glazed doors with ogee, oval and arched glazing bars, enclosing three adjustable shelves, on bracket feet, decorated with panels of flame veneers.  English, circa 1810.
